My Writing

I am completing The Professional Writing Minor on the Science Communication Track as part of my studies at UC Santa Barbara. This is a competitive minor, requiring an application and portfolio to be submitted for consideration. Along with the minor, I am currently working with The Center for Science and Engineering Partnerships as their Science Communication Intern for two projects: The 2024 Whole PhD Video Series and the 11th Annual Art of Science Competition.

Throughout the minor, I have completed several writing courses including Science Writing for the Public, Technical Writing, Writing for Science and Technology, Scientific Literacy, and Science Communication for the Public. Below, you will find select papers from various minor classes as well as my two culminating capstone projects created during the final course in the minor (currently a work in progress, check back mid-June!).

Additionally, I have one published paper, "Exploring the Impact of Mobile Learning on STEM Education in K-8 Settings: A Systematic Literature Review on the Implementation and Evaluation of Mobile Learning". This paper was published in Volume 4 of the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Journal (URCAJ), and was created during my coursework in Writing for Science and Technology.
